We extend our appreciation to the Narromine Wright Flyer Project Inc. and the aircraft’s builders, the Haydens, for agreeing to the museum display of the replica 1907 Wright Flyer ‘A’. With insurance and other issues making its future flying prospects uncertain and problematic, the parties agreed that the best place for its preservation is the museum, where it will not be at risk of damage in a flying accident. The unique and indeed world-famous replica, which had logged several flying hours locally during 2005-2013, is now displayed along with some of the jigs and benches used to build it.
